「Change the focus」をテーマに「つながるFactory Automation」をブースコンセプトとして出展するホリゾンは、過去最大級の展示スペースに全21システムに上る製品の実機実演を行うほか、2つのステージで印刷関連各社とのコラボレーション展示や、AGVやロボットを使った用紙搬送実演などを紹介する。
また、7社のワークフロー製品とホリゾンiCE LiNKを一堂に揃えたワークフローゾーンを設置。さらに、Smart Factory Zoneは参加企業が12社に増え、スケールアップして東6 ホール（ブース6-20）にて開催される。
今回のテーマは、単に視点をポストプレスに向けてほしいという意味ではなく、目まぐるしく変化を遂げる社会情勢の中で、フレキシブルな視点で順応・対応することの重要性を表現したもの。
ホリゾンでは柔軟性のあるSmart Factoryを目指し、これを実現することが成功への鍵であると強く感じている。
また、「人に変わる自動化…」がSmart Factoryに求められるテーマとなっており、人は人にしかできない仕事をし、生産システムは自動運転で実績を積み上げていく。その稼働進捗はリアルタイムに確認することができ、早い段階で次の手を段取りへと進むことができる。
いよいよ明確になったテーマであり、人に変わる自動化を目指し、そこに求められるものを提案する流れへと大きく舵が切られた。
ホリゾンでは自社商品の提案に留まらない生産システム全体を、最新情報とメーカー間ネットワークで提案していく。
Change the Focus at Horizon IGAS2022, where we’ll exhibiting a total of 21 systems in one of the largest exhibition spaces ever with the concept of “Connected Factory Automation.” See a wide selection of collaborations with printing and other interindustry companies that present automated solutions and booth-to-booth sheet transportation utilizing AGVs and robots.
Additionally, the Smart Factory Zone will be held in East Hall 6 (Booth 6-20) with 12 more collaborating partners on a larger scale. Horizon is aiming for a flexible Smart Factory which is the key to successful business. Now there is a major trend for automating simple, repetitive tasks to free up workers for more creative jobs. At IGAS2022, Horizon will propose solutions for this trend with advanced technology and collaborating partners.
ロール紙対応中綴じ製本システムiCE STITCHLINER Mark V（NEW）はロール紙の巻き出しスピードを落とさずに、最高6,000冊/時の高生産性を実現。サシミ状に搬送・折り加工をすることでシャープな折り加工を可能にした。
プリンターインライン無線綴じシステム（NEW）は多品種小ロットだけではなく、1 on 1 のバリアブル冊子の自動化に最適。本身側にシートカット装置を加えることで、A3用紙への多面付けを可能にし、省力化とコストダウンに貢献する。
極少・中ロット向け無線綴じシステム（NEW）は折丁給紙、無線綴じ、三方断裁までをインライン化。従来システムに比べ、セット替え時間の短縮と省力化を実現した。
ロール紙対応無線綴じシステム（NEW）はブックブロック加工機BBS-56と、無線綴じ機BQ-500、三方断裁機HT-1000Vをインライン化した中ロット向け製本システム。ブックブロック加工機BBS-56は、連帳用紙にミシン目を入れてプラウ折した後に、定寸でカットして集積し、ブックブロックを作成。さらに厚さが異なるバリアブルジョブもセット替え無しで生産可能となっている。
ペラ丁合鞍掛け中綴じ製本システムiCE STITCHLINER Mark IV（NEW）は自動化と製本品質の向上を追求した次世代型中綴じ製本システム。優れた操作性で製本の効率化と製本品質の安定化を実現し、多様化する市場のニーズに柔軟に応える。
このほかにも型抜き装置・糊付け装置・紙折機をインライン接続した紙ファイル作成システムで、脱プラスチックに貢献する紙ファイルメーカー（NEW）や、無線綴じ機BQ-500にオプションの見返し供給装置ESF-1000と寒冷紗供給装置GF-500を使用することで、寒冷紗を使用した上製本の下固工程の自動化を可能にする下固製本システム（NEW）などが紹介される。
The iCE STITCHLINER Mark V is our roll-to-booklet saddlestitcher that achieves high productivity with a maximum production speed of 6,000 booklets per hour. Sheets are individually creased and plow folded before stitching for sharp spines and tight folds.
The Inline Cut Sheet Printer & Book Production system (with Ricoh) enables variable book production with no operator makereadies and automatic changeovers. Two presses (one for book blocks and one for cover sheets) are connected inline, with the cover sheets being printed based on book-block contents and then automatically fed into a binder.
The Signature Gatherer Inline Book Production System is designed to produce books from offset-printed signatures and features our gatherer, book block feeder, 4-clamp perfect binder, and three-side trimmer all connected inline. Palletized signatures will be transported by an AGV from the Folder to Palletizing Robot System.
The Plow Fold Book Production System is a roll-to-book solution allows for book-of-one production at a high production speed of up to 800 books per hour. A plow-fold book block system is integrated inline with our book block feeder, perfect binder, and 3-knife trimmer to allow for roll-to-book production in one pass.
Other products to be introduced include the iCE STITCHLINER Mark IV, Inline Pocket Folder System, and Case Bind Book Block Production System.
